Thank you for all you do.
KJ's Angels was founded in early 2019 when an infant by the name of King Jay Davila was found deceased in San Antonio, TX; near the northeast side. This hit close to home for Founder, Jasmine Anderson, and after realizing that King Jay had multiple siblings, she set out to make a difference in their lives and the lives of other children that may be at risk for abuse or child abuse leading to death. Jasmine started working with the children that were related to baby King Jay and pulled a $10,000 loan and was able to secure an attorney for them, help rebuild their home, build a nursery for their baby brother, and supply them with essential items and resources such as air conditioning, food, school supplies, clothes, and more. Soon after, she realized she could do this for other children and set out to become a 501(c)3 nonprofit that would be named after King Jay; KJ's Angels.
Since early 2019, we have served thousands of children and families through our mental health services, diaper program, school supply programs, community outreach, parenting classes, and more. We are proud to stand united in Bexar County as we help lead the fight against child abuse.
KJ's Angels provides resources and services that help eliminate child abuse. Our goal is to help prevent child abuse by reducing stressors in people’s lives, advocating for children who are unable to speak for themselves, and bringing awareness to the community of the benefits of mental, emotional, physical and social health.
